ADULT FAITH FORMATION—LENTEN BOOK STUDY

Join us on three Thursdays—March 13, 20, and 27—for a Lenten Book Study. The study and discussion will take place in the Large Meeting Room at 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Choose the time that is most convenient for you.  Books will be provided for an offering of $10.

 We will be reading and discussing "The Return of the Prodigal Son" by Henri Nouwen. This profound spiritual reflection is inspired by Rembrandt’s famous painting of the same name. In this deeply personal and contemplative work, Nouwen explores the parable of the prodigal son through the lens of his own faith journey. He identifies with each character: the wayward son seeking forgiveness, the elder brother struggling with resentment, and the compassionate father offering unconditional love. Through his insights, Nouwen invites readers to embrace God’s mercy, healing, and call to reconciliation.
