We look forward to welcoming FRANK KARTHEISER to St. Mary's in the Easter Season as we continue to find ways as a parish community to serve the needs of people - locally in Shrewsbury and the Worcester area, in our country and throughout the world. Pope Leo XIV often echoes the very words of Jesus when he says that when we serve the least among us , we are serving Christ himself and that we will always find our Lord present in them. Come and share this evening with us as we welcome this true disciple and man of faith.
Frank Kartheiser has spent more than 50 years in the Worcester area serving the poor and hungry. The former Director of Worcester Interfaith, he has worked as a community organizer bringing together leaders and members of various faith communities to find ways to better our local community. In 1972 Frank was one of the Co-Founders of the MUSTARD SEED - a Catholic Worker House of Hospitality in Worcester, which continues its mission daily with a soup kitchen and food pantry.
