As a joyful extension of Pentecost, St. Mary's continues its celebration of the "birth of the Church" through Taste of Nations which will be held this year on Saturday, May 30th from 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall. Taste of Nations celebrates our unity in diversity - we are one people, one family, and One Body in Christ.
This annual event brings together cooks from the parish who showcase foods from their countries of origin. Are you known for your delicious Italian eggplant parmigiana? Do people praise your Lebanese lamb stew? Do mouths water at the mention of your Irish shepherd’s pie? Please consider cooking for Taste of Nations! The event is a generous outpouring of time, talent, and treasure and we cook for a cause! All proceeds go toward the many organizations and causes our church supports in the Worcester area and beyond.
In previous years we have had a sampling of dishes from Poland, Ukraine, Ireland, Italy, Haiti, Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador, Nigeria, Ghana, Vietnam, Philippines, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and India. Please join our team of cooks this year!
